Is this the year that you have been telling yourself that you’d like to do something new? Or learn something new? Well, if it is, then this is the best opportunity for you to learn something new and unique! You can actually make your own Teddy Bear!
This workshop is actually entitled “Bears for Haiyan: A DIY Caridad Charity Bear Workshop”. It’s in partnership with Luna and BEME. In addition to learning something new, you will actually be giving something back to society as well. During the workshop, you will be creating 2 bears: one for yourself and one for a child in Tacloban. So, it’s not only good for you, it’s also good for your heart! <3
And DO NOT FRET, because you will be taking home the bear template which you can use when you get back home and create bears in your own chosen materials! Isn’t that great??
Luna is actually an advocacy shop. Most of the products of Luna will be for something in the country. It may be for a fund raising like this – for Typhoon Haiyan. But the main objective of Luna is to give something back to the country – for the betterment of us all.
BEME is an Arts and Crafts studio. I was actually there already before. I think early this year with my sister when we did some arts and crafts. It’s a really nice studio wherein you can create anything to your hearts content.
