Yep, for a lot of people it’s the time of the year again wherein they watch the blow by blow account of what’s going on in the UAAP. Unfortunately for me, I never had the same experience since the school that I went to was not part of the UAAP. So I never really experienced the kind of school spirit and never really rooted for any team. Yes, I was very apathetic.
And it never seizes to amaze me how much people really loved their school and would fight in the name of their school in a basketball. Something that I truly missed. Sometimes I wish I had gone to a bigger university to feel all of the excitement. But going to the university that I went to also had its perks. But that’s an entirely different story.
This year, marks the 75th season of the UAAP and to celebrate this, Havaianas has come out with a Limited Edition UAAP collection which started to be available in select Havaianas retailers in Metro Manila last July 6. There are 8 different designs which represents that different universities of the UAAP.
Each pair is being sold at PHP 1,195. It is available in the following stores in Metro Manila (Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, Glorietta 3, Greenblet 5, SM City North EDSA Annex, Complex Lifestyle Store Eastwood, Complex Lifestyle Store Festival Mall, Rustan’s Alabang Town Center, Rustan’s Gateway, Rustan’s Makati, and Rustans Shangri-La Plaza Mall.
