Pininho Love
3 weekends ago, Pininho had a sale and because I haven’t really been THAT up to date with my email. I missed my post on that. :( SORRY. I just hope that you guys got the chance to visit All Flip-Flops and other official retailers of Havaianas to get discounts on those cute little pins.
Actually, that weekend, I visited the All Flip Flop store in Bonifacio High Street because my dad was looking for a new pair of slippers. Apparently, his super old slippers got broken already because he loved to wear it.
That time, I realized that I missed summer in the Philippines. I remember years back, whenever it’s summer, I would look for the perfect pair of slippers for Summer. I would have a new pair every year. Sometimes, even more than just a pair.
Going back to that store, brought me the same kind of happiness and giddiness that I usually felt when looking at the bright and beautiful pairs that are available. Actually, there are soo many pairs right now and if you’re the type of person who would want to have something different then Pininhos will be the ultimate accessory for you and your favorite pair of flip-flops.
Check out these pictures of the available Pininhos now.

Catalogue 63′s Trunk Show
Remember my post about the Shiq? Well, the online retailer, Catalogue 63, where I found that bag will be having a multi-brand trunk show. This event will be held on June 25-26 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Metropolitan Club, Estrella Street, Makati City.

Popular local brands such as Renegade Folk, Tala Manila, Two Oranges Bags and Naked Sun will be participating in the said event. This trunk show will also mark the official launch of the Catalogue 63 website.
“We’re very excited to hold our first ever trunk show to officially launch Catalgue 63. We want to take this opportunity to showcase our partner brands and at the same time, educate our customers on how easy and convenient it is to shop on our website”, said Martina Gomez, Marketing Manager of Catalogue 63.
Catalogue 63 is an online shopping hub that offers women’s clothes, shoes, bags and accessories from independent and up-and-coming Filipino brands. It aims to promote Philippine-made fashion while giving its customers a straightforward, convenient and enjoyable online shopping experience.
“We feel that the Philippine market is ready to embrace e-commerce. Many online stores have sprouted up on various social networking sites and we take this as a sign that Filipinos are now becoming more comfortable with online shopping. Last year, a survey conducted by Grey Group Asia Pacific discovered that the population of Filipino online shoppers is growing, with 46% of Filipinos purchasing goods over the internet. We are optimistic that they will continue their shopping at Catalogue 63,” continued Gomez.
The Catalogue 63 Trunk Show will also feature clothes, bags and accessories by And Apparel (Women’s Clothers and Footwear), Amaranta (Jewelry), Celine (Women’s Clothes), Cintura Belts (Women’s Belts), Daley (Women’s Casual Tops), Shiq Bags (Women’s Bags), Sienna (Women’s Sandals), Sinta Shoes (Women’s Shoes) and Vel (Accessories). Dreaming of Greece
Greece. Yes, it was one of those places that I really had fun. The food, the sites, the people. The food was really good. Although the sites are mostly ruins, it’s still a site to behold. And the people! I think they would have been Filipinos in the alternate universe. They were so friendly and nice and had all of the qualities most Filipinos are known for.
I went to Athens which was great but I didn’t have enough time to go to Santorini, Crete or Delphi. Someday, maybe.
I remembered Greece when I was looking through the new collection of Sole Sister and they had these shoes that are inspired by Santorini.
Santorini – Glam Black
Santorini – Matte Gold
I love these wedge shoes. As I have mentioned, I’m into the right kind of height. These shoes remind me of espadrilles, only more feminine because of the height. These shoes have the right height. Great for everyday wear.

Sole Sister: Spring Summer 2011: The Hamptons
I have never been to New York. Hence, I have never been to the The Hamptons which is known as the Summer Colony of the American North East. But this is definitely in my To Do List. These shoes, name after the popular Summer Destination in the States. With these shoes, you will definitely feel like you’re one with Serena and Blair while wearing your maxi dresses and cocktail dresses with these wedge flats.
I love these kinds of shoes because I DO NOT know how to walk in high heels. (Oh, by the way, that’s another thing in my TO DO List this year – to learn how to walk in high heels). As much as I would love to wear heels and confidently strut down my stuff, I am unable to do that. The closest I have to heels are wedges and these ones, I would think, would be the perfect “trainer” heels. Less than an inch but still very feminine. I would imagine, after you graduate from these, you can go and wear higher wedges and pretty soon, you’d be steady enough to walk in heels.
Yep, I’m just voicing out the plan that I HOPE to be able to do this year. ;)

Sole Sister: Spring/Summer Collection 2011: Cali
I know. I know. It’s a little too late to be posting about this because honestly, the Summer season in the Philippines is already ending BUT technically, we’re still in the Spring/Summer Collection all over the world up until August. (HA!) But forgive me if this is a bit late but I just got soo excited about shoes here in the Philippines. Coming from France where all of the bags and chocolates are cheap but shoes are really expensive, the prices of shoes here in the Philippines seem just to good to be true. These shoes only cost PHP795.00 (which is more or less around EUR13). The only place where you can get shoes around this much is H&M.
Sole Sister Cali Black
These flat sandals are perfect for those night outs when you’d like to keep on walking and strolling, enjoying the night and wishing that it would never end. Since it’s black, you’re not only limited to wearing it during the summer. You can also wear it to work, to the mall or wherever you want. Black is a staple in anyone’s wardrobe so you shouldn’t really worrying about buying this because it will definitely not go out of style. ;)
The two other colors of CALI are blue and pink which are truly very vibrant and would definitely bring out the happy, perky feeling in you.
Cali – Blue
Cali – Pink
