Even more congratulations to Madelin Galvez who will soon be getting married! 10 years is a really long time but I guess time flies when you’re having fun. ;) I will you all the best and may God Bless you both always.

Thank you for everyone who took time out to join this contest. I know that you are really avid readers of my blog since I didn’t place anything about winning in the title but you guys still joined! ;) Thanks so much for taking time out to read my blog even though there are times when I haven’t really been updating it all that much because of work (busy bee, busy me).

I really am hoping that in the next few weeks or months, work wouldn’t be as stressful or hectic! Maybe it’s also because of the season? It’s nearing the end of the year so there are really a lot of activities going on here, there and everywhere! But I hope that even if we’re soo busy with everything, we still take time out to enjoy and be happy.

So, I guess, that’s all for today. HAPPY OCTOBER everyone!

Soap Farm

Accessories,Other 28 September 2011 | 2 Comments

Here are some additional ideas on what to give this Christimas. Why not give handmade soaps? :) These handmade soaps are made from coconut oil, milk, lye and fruit juice. They also see to it that the ingredients are 100% natural and they are already awaiting organic certification – so you can be assured that these soaps are 100% safe and earth-friendly.

Take a look at the picture above. Does it look like a soap to you? :) I swear that it looks like a Christmas Tree ornament to me. :)

If you see this on the table, would you think it were soaps.

Yummy!!

These little bouquets remind me of flowers on a birthday or wedding cake. I was thinking, this would also be a cool giveaway for some weddings. You can have it customized to the color motif that you have.

These creative soaps are packed in hand woven baskets made from Quezon Province. This is actually pretty good and smart because they are giving and supporting livelihood from the different places in the Philippines.

Their mission: To make you and your skin SMILE. :)

Their vision: To make the world SMILE, one soap at a time.

For more information, check out their multiply site:

P.S. Their soaps are also available at the Palms Country Club in Alabang.

David & Goliath, the US clothing brand known for its fun, witty statement tees, has announced the 20 finalists who have the chance in becoming its Philippine brand ambassadors.

David and Goliath PR

After signing up in the brand’s official Facebook page and submitting photos, ten chicks and ten dudes were picked and will advance to the next round of competition. The panel of judges who selected the best photo entries was composed of David & Goliath Philippines Managing Director Anne Gonzalez, Marketing Head Ammiel de Leon and Netbooster Asia Art Director Aaron Asis.

Top 10 Dudes

“All of the photo entries were great”, said Gonzalez. “We are very happy with the 20 who made it to the cut. Each of them was able to exude the personality of David & Goliath in their photos.” The entries were judged based on creativity, presentation and possession of David & Goliath’s personalities – being fun, witty and young.

Top 10 Chicks

The 20 finalists are a mix of students and young professionals. The 10 dudes are composed of students of multimedia arts, filmmaking, entrepreneurship and culinary arts, engineering and nursing graduates, a senior high school student, a teacher, a medical researcher, and a game developer. On the other hand, the 10 chicks are made up of students of accountancy, biology, communications, marketing and linguistics and human resource and marketing professionals and an online tutor.

These 20 aspiring contestants will record a video that will be uploaded in the brand’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/davidandgoliathphilippines) for public voting.
