I have an online friend who emailed me about Amara Gold. Although I know that it is not exactly cheap and it is not made here in the Philippines, I think it’s still worth to write about this. They claim that Amara is an eco-friendly jewelry line. They claim this because of their recycled gold jewelry.

Voices of Hope

Currently, they have launched a contest to support breast cancer awareness, which they call Voices of Hope. With this, they would want to showcase the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To honor the survivors, Amara Gold has created Facebook forum for breast cancer awareness and support. This would aim to reach out to its community and to share the love. Fans and supporters are encouraged to share personal stories about survivors who have inspired them with their strength of spirit and perseverance.

Not only has Amara Gold opened up its Facebook page to honor the survivors but the to further encourage awareness and foster support, the company will choose one story posted on their page (videos and pictures are highly encouraged) and donate $1,000 to the entry owner’s charity of choice. That would be equivalent to around PHP45,000. Additionally the selected entry and the survivor who inspired them will both receive a gorgeous 14k rose gold pendant necklace, representing the journey from treatment to survival.

For you to be able to participate, visit the Amara Gold Facebook page and share the story of the survivor who has inspired you. The Voices of Hope Forum will be live through the end of October, so keep checking back for updates and inspiration.

Personally, I’ve had a cousin who was a cancer survivor and a lot of other relatives who were also inflicted with cancer. I know how hard it is and I know that each and every story would really ignite a spark of hope in your life. Sometimes, it makes you realize that whatever “problem” you have right now is insignificant and you’re doing just fine.

I really hope that everyone in world have a heart like that. A hopeful hard that everything will be okay inspite of all the trials that we have to go through, may we always remember that the problems that w have right now are just fleeting and that they will all go away. Anyway, we’re not given problems that we cannot hack. And all of the problems have solutions!
