Philip Stein Fruitz Watch

Accessories 2 March 2012 | 0 Comments

I saw this deal on Beeconomic and I was a bit surprised to find out that that the Fruitz Watch is Philip Stein as well.

I did a little research over the internet and found their official website.

Fruitz Classic

The Fruitz Classic Collection is about fruits in their natural, rawest forms. It has 36 mm dials, silicon straps, fun sunburst dials and natural frequency technology disks make these fashion watches truly multifunctional.

Fruitz Happy Hour

The Fruitz Happy Hour Collection is about charming fruity cocktails, and their fascinating, unique stories. Their larger dials make them unquestionable fashion statements, while their added features, including day, date and month dials, make them highly functional timepieces.

Fruitz Sorbet

The Fruitz Sorbet Collection is about juicy, delicious fruits and cool, sweet flavors. Choose from a range of amazingly vivid colors that holler fashion and fun while gently infusing you with natural frequencies.

Fruitz Peace Love

The Peace Love Collection features different art works wherein the main theme is Peace and Love (duh!).

About Fruitz

So now, we know that it is under the umbrella Philip Stein Company. Which is good since it has been a reliable brand of watch. I personally have had one and it has been there for years! I love it soo much. The Fruitz line was conceived in 2007, so it has been around for 5 years already. The goal of it was to create a collection of fun-wearing, colorful fashion watches that could improve the wellbeing of wearers through natural frequency technology. So it means that it also has the Philip Stein technology which was known for relieving stress. But honestly, I don’t know if mine worked. Cause I have been very stressed for quite sometime known. But who knows, if I’m not wearing it, I could’ve had a heart attack already!

Where to Buy in the Philippines?

Honestly, I don’t know where you can buy it here in the Philippines. I know that I’ve seen it somewhere but I still have to check out where. But I think that the Groupon deal is pretty good already. Check it out here. The only downside is that you only have 4 styles to choose from.

What about you, what’s your take on this? :)

Big Deals, Group Buying Sites, and My Take On It

Accessories,Other 2 March 2012 | 0 Comments

It has been such a busy day at work. Well actually the whole week has been UBER busy with a lot of things to do, issues to resolve, meetings to attend, etc., etc., etc. However, the weird thing is, this week has been SUPER fast. As compared to last week when I was in Shanghai. So weird. And they say, time flies when you’re having fun? I beg to disagree. Time flies when you’re just busy. Period.

BIG DEALS

I received an email from a person who works for this company, BIGDEALS. It’s again one of those group buying sites but this time around, this company is established in Pampanga. Which is pretty cool! Way to go, Pampangenos!

The people behind BigDeals are a group of entrepreneurs composed of engineers, software developers, and marketing professionals. They launched BigDeals last September 2011.

Basically, it works just like any other group buying sites. I’m pretty sure a lot of you guys are familiar with that.

Checking Out The Site

Of course, I had to check out their site (http://www.bigdeals.com.ph/) and here are some of the deals that they have currently:

Azucar: Unlimited Illy Brewed Coffee and Unlimited Cakes, Breads and Pastries for only PHP120

Comments: This looks pretty interested except that I haven’t been here yet. It’s at Wilson in San Juan City. I’m pretty sure one of the food bloggers out there should try and review this!

Be Amazed for 3D/2N Holy Week Vacation Package at HK with Free Macau Day tour for only PHP 17,848 instead of PHP29,747

Comments: GREAT DEAL! J I want to go to HK however during these dates I wont be here in Manila, I’ll be in Shanghai! WOOHOO for me. But note to self, must plan a trip to Hong Kong next year.

Avail 45% off on 8 in 1 Screwdriver with built-in led light (FREE DELIVERY WITHIN METRO MANILA ONLY)

Comments: This should be a great gift for guys! You can already buy stuff and stock it up for Christmas! It’s never too early to start your Christmas shopping because when Christmas comes along, I am pretty sure that you won’t know what to get your guy friends! I have that problem year in and year out.

Have fun in the sands for 3D/2N Holy Week Boracay Barkada package with Airfare + Accommodation and more

Comments: Saw my comment in the first bullet? Well, this is exactly the same way I feel about this. I haven’t gone to Boracay for the past 6 years! And have not had any summer vacation since 2010. Next year, I wish to see the sun and the beach and feel the heat instead of having a super cold year!

Avail 59% off on an amazing shoe rack (Free Delivery Within Metro Manila)

Comments: I need this. NUFF said. I’m pretty sure all of you shoe fanatics out there would love to have this!!

Explore Singapore for only PHP 14,998 instead of PHP23,798 for 3D/2N with hotel accommodation + airfare + City Tour and more

Comments: Cool! I love Singapore and I love shoe shopping in Singapore! I hope (and I hope I won’t jinx it that I’d be able to go back there this year. Pray, pray, pray.

Enjoy Puerto Princesa for only PHP7,688 instead of 12,813 for 3D/2N with hotel accommodation + airfare + underground river and more

Comments: I haven’t been to Puerto Princesa and I know that someday I will go. This is one place we should all go to because of the underground river. I heard in the news before that it’s so hard to go there now because of all the media mileage that it got before when it was part of the roster for the wonders of the world.

To Summarize It…

I love group buying sites and I have to admit that at one point in my life I was soo addicted to it that when you review my credit card bill most of the items there came from the group buying sites. SO BEWARE! Buying from these sites CAN be addicting.

I guess for me, the most “sulit” deals would be the travel deals however, you can’t really rely on what I say because I have to admit that I haven’t purchased any deals yet with regard to travel. BUT, I have purchased a lot of deals already that would require shipping. 90% of the time, it was reliable and all. Actually, there was just ONE instance that really disappointed me – when I ordered a Longchamp bag from Cash Cash Pinoy last December. From that time on, I really kind of stopped buying already but not totally.

But seriously, when used in a good way, these group buying sites would really give you a good deal. I guess here are some of the tips that I would have for you:

Always make sure that when you buy, it’s something that you need instead of something that you want
Buy based on your personality, let’s say you’re a travel – then the travel deals are best for you
Buy only those coupons that you know you’re going to use and not PLAN to use. For instance, I go to this mall a lot, if I buy a coupon for a restaurant in that mall, then I’m pretty sure that I would be able to use it because I’m always there as opposed to buying a coupon from a restaurant that’s located in a place that I’m not usually in

That’s all for now. And for my parting words – YAY! IT’S OFFICIALLY FRIDAY!

MIS COSAS FOLDABLE WEEKENDERS: Something huge in a small package

Accessories 31 January 2012 | 0 Comments

Weekends don’t count unless you spend them doing something completely pointless. ~Bill Watterson

Is that necessarily true? Well, I guess for me it’s not. Weekends for me are spent doing something I like, doing something that I don’t get to do on a normal day because I don’t have time and just relaxing. Okay, maybe for some it’s a bit pointless, but for me, it’s the ultimate.

To make you have more fun and colorful weekend, I’m soo happy to share with you the new product of Mis Cosas – the Foldable Weekenders.

Mis Cosas Blue Bag Set
Mis Cosas Blue Bag Set

The Mis Cosas Team came up with a foldable weekender because they saw the need of people having more compact and useful items in their day-to-day living. This January, they have release their newest product – the Mis Cosas Foldable Weekenders which caters to people who are always on the go but have very little space in their home. This particular product is being sold through their website: http://miscosasonline.com or through their multiply site: http://miscosas888.multiply.com.

Weekender Bags are usually very large and very hard to store. However, each and every individual at one point in their life, find a need for it. It may be that weekend getaway, or a 3-day/2-night retreat or as simple as a 3-hour gym workout. Now, Mis Cosas has came up with a perfect solution by offering the market a huge bag that folds into a 7 x 9” pouch for easy storage.

Truly, this bag comes in a small package but when unfolded, a 19 x 6 x 16″ ( L x W x H) bag unfolds. It is also easy to carry with a 11” handle drop which allows you to carry it comfortably over your shoulders. For more storage, the bag also features 2 outer pockets with zippers and 1 inner pocket with zipper which allows you to keep small items such as car keys or hair ties. This bag also comes in a waterproof nylon material which is the same material that as the waterproof Mis Cosas Crayon Carry Alls that was released last year. This simply means that aside from the fact that it is waterproof, it also can carry very heavy load.

To cater to the different tastes and preferences of the market, it comes in 8 different colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, gray and pink. For those among you who worry about the bag being dirty, don’t fret because the materials is washable. You can just wash it everytime you feel that it’s not in its best condition anymore.

All Colors Bags
All the Wonderful Colors

Each bag is being sold at PHP 1,200 at the Mis Cosas Website (http://miscosasonline.com) or through the Mis Cosas Multiply site (http://miscosas888.multiply.com). For more information or orders, you can also contact the Mis Cosas Team directly through their email address (miscosas888@gmail.com).

Emo: Steel + Style

Accessories 29 January 2012 | 0 Comments

“My husband gave me a necklace. It’s fake. I requested fake. Maybe I’m paranoid, but in this day and age, I don’t want something around my neck that’s worth more than my head. ~Rita Rudner”

You got that right Ms. Rita Rudner. In this day and age, when recession came into the picture and it’s just too much to buy jewelry when you know very well that there are some people who can’t even buy a decent mean, would you still save up money to buy SUPER expensive jewelry? I guess for some people who can actually afford it, sure. But for most people who live on a paycheck, this is probably the last thing on their mind.

But of course, for us girls, we would always like to look good, look classy, and look polished. Hence, jewelry is a MUST. Thanks God for EMO and for the brilliant people behind EMO who came up with the idea of offering stainless steel jewelry that is not only hypoallergenic but also costs a fraction of the cost of what real gold jewelry would amount to.

Emo Steel Style

Your first reaction would probably be like – STAINLESS STEEL? WTH? Yes, stainless steel. Did you know that the very popular CHARRIOL from Geneve uses stainless steel for the jewelry? Not only that, some well-known watch companies also use stainless steel, such as Bulova, Invicta and Dolce and Gabbana (to name a few).

One of the good things about using stainless steel jewelry is that it’s much harder that most metals such as silver and gold which is why it retains the high polished luster for a long time as compared to silver and white gold.

Currently, EMO is the only stainless steel jewelry maker that I know of here in the Philippines. There might be others out there but I’m not exposed to them. Visiting their branch in Hypermert also made me realize that this brand offers a lot of different styles and designs that would match each and every personality.

Guess what caught my attention?

This one! And guess who owns this now? ME!

I initially liked this because I thought the butterflies where letter K’s from afar and when you zoom in on it, you will notice that those are actually butterflies. This actually reminds me of 2 things:

1.) My love for hearts

2.) Butterflies that always reminds me of my Mama (Grandmother) who passed away a few years back

These are the other items that caught my attention:
