Payless Shoe Source in the Philippines

If you guys have been to the States, you probably know of this brand. I personally have not been to the States but a lot of my friends have been raving about this store because of the good quality shoes that they offer but affordable prices as well.

I first saw this post in Twitter again (just like the H&M) post but then I was able to confirm it via the FHM site wherein they featured it. I later found out that it was SSI (Stores Specialists, Inc.) are the ones responsible for bringing in this brand. I dropped them a not asking if it’s true and when the opening is and they confirmed that the first store will be opening this month in Festival Mall.

How sad! That the first store will be in such a far place. But then, they will also open 8 more stores within the year in the following malls: Shangri-La Plaza, SM Megamall, Ali Mall, Greenhills Shoppesville, Rockwell, Market! Market!, Robinsons Galleria, and Marquee Mall in Pampanga.

This brand will be managed by Footwear Speciality Retailers, Inc. a subsidiary of SSI.

  1. I am sorry about your experience in Payless Shoe Source at SM Manila 7up2, but I guess mine is way far from yours. As a matter of fact, I should commend one of their sales clerk. His name is Peter. Peter always assist me very well whenever I visit the store. His enthusiasm and willingness to give best service to customer are always there. I got 5 pairs of  shoes already and I am planning to buy more this year for my husband and kids.

Everybody makes a mistake, and a mistake can be corrected. Maybe this time when  you visit their branch again, you won’t have the same experience that you had before.. Why don’t you try. They are still on sale! 😉

  3. hi… i just want to inform you that the mall will fine the store if they will not close on time? because that is their policy…. just like in their dept store, they will lessen the lights that are open because that is in their standards…. as much as every shop in that mall wants to sell and i mean its really really dying to get a sales, but they have to follow the rules….. i would suggest that you get to the store earlier than the closing time…. thank you….

  4. i like the staff in Pay Less Robinsons Galleria. They were all very patient to me when I was looking for a perfect shoes for my dress. 🙂

  6. i am a regular client of payless cebu. but im disapponted with Payless Ayala recently. last sept 30 i bought a pair of beach shoes for my 3 year old son but found out that the pair is small for him. got back the following day to ask for change size. but was surprised to learn they dont accept change size because the item is on sale and insisted they explained their policy prior my payment which i swear they didnt. otherwise i would not buy the item nor come come back to ask for change of size and get surprised! i asked nicely but to no avail. the request was small, valid and friendly compared to the lost. because of that you dont only lose one customer but the whole of my friends, family and office mates… payless its time you recheck o your costumer care policy. you didnt even bother to log down my complaint so you could escalate to your higher office. in every business, costumer is precious but i didnt feel that. im sure the owner/proprietor wont be happy to hear this.

  7. I’m soo sorry about your incident. I really do hope that someone form Payless would see all of these feedbacks regarding this. 🙂

  8. Same experience ruth, last mar 23, I bought shoes size 7 1/2, went back mar 27 for change of size but the paylesss manager told me na hindi pwede because the item is on sale, I told her na I’m willing to pay for a regular price mapalitan lang but she told me yun daw ang policy nila, hindi pera ang pinag uusapan dito kundi ang right ng customer
